We work on Childhood Studies for a Global Education agenda, which has been described by the Council of Europe as “a pedagogical approach that fosters multiple perspectives and the deconstruction of stereotypes and builds on a learner-centred approach to foster critical awareness of global changes and engagement for sustainable lifestyles”.

K Reporters interprets the cultural practices and processes embedded in children’s everyday life, social relations, and politics.

K Reporters aims to scale up children’s participation according to five possible levels to do so, considering their contextual conditions: 

(1) Children’s voices production;
(2) Offering support to express their ideas and opinions;
(3) Being responsible and loyal to children’s statement;
(4) Involving as part of decisions children’s views;
(5) Sharing the power to reach a decision.

This project will enrich Childhood Studies and Intersectional Pedagogy tools because it meets the invaluable educational dimension of well-being.

We focus on the importance of critical praxis in transforming education from the imbrication of intersectionality with social justice can improve the lives of people and minority groups (children and educators), and fight discrimination and exclusion.

K Reporters pursues to decolonize professional knowledge and identities, by designing and implementing tools that will transform the power relations between adults and children in pedagogical contexts, based on innovative and creative strategies.
